Job summary

H.E.B. is seeking a Perishable Representative to keep a well-stocked, well-maintained department and deliver superior customer service. You will prepare, package, and merchandise fresh products daily while upholding food safety standards.

You will handle customer questions, take orders, rotate stock, and assist in various perishable areas like Produce, Meat, Seafood, Floral and more. Must be able to lift and work in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Experience with Telxon, ACR and label machines is helpful.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service and assist customers with selections.
• Prepare, package, and merchandise fresh products daily.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards and clean display cases.
• Rotate products, label items, and assist in department-specific tasks (Aguas, Floral, Market, Produce, Seafood).
