Job summary

H.E.B. in Burleson, TX is seeking a Perishable Representative to maintain a stocked, clean department and deliver superior customer service. You will prep, package, and merchandise fresh products daily while upholding food safety standards.

You will assist customers, answer questions, rotate stock, and support departments such as Aguas, Floral, Market, Produce and Seafood with product knowledge and samples when needed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Completion of Company Orientation and Safety Training.
• Age 18+.
• Customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Knowledge of Telxon, ACR, and label machine is a plus.
• Excellent reading and writing abilities with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides superior customer service and answers product questions.
• Prepares, packages, and merchandises fresh products daily.
• Rotates and labels products; uses Telxon for production.
• Merchandises items effectively and of fers suggestive selling.
• Cleans display cases and maintains food safety standards.
• Works across departments to support Aguas, Floral, Market, Produce, Seafood as needed.
