Champion Petfoods in Auburn, Kentucky is seeking a Fresh Mixing Production Operator – 3rd Shift to safely and efficiently operate the Fresh Mixing department equipment at our state-of-the-art facility. Reports to the Production Supervisor and plays a key role in maintaining product quality and safety throughout the shift.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of two years in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety, Food Safety and Environmental policies are followed.
• Keep work area neat and organized per policies.
• Identify and address food-safety concerns.
• Unload trucks to meet production and customer needs.
• Follow established formulas for fresh ingredients.
• Maintain batching processes for continuous extrusion line flow.
• Participate in daily ingredient inventory and bin checks.
• Operate heavy machinery and packaging equipment safely.
• Dump totes and manage tote stations.
• Operate lift trucks as required.
• Develop professional relationships and communicate with staff.
• Assist in annual physical inventory.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
