Job summary

Champion in Auburn, Kentucky is seeking a Packaging Production Operator for the 3rd shift to operate state‑of‑the‑art packaging equipment. The role reports to the Production Supervisor and focuses on safe, efficient processing within the Packaging department.

Highlights include following health and safety, food safety, and environmental policies, maintaining a clean work area, and participating in annual inventories.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment and/or equivalent military experience, or college degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment in the Packaging department safely and efficiently.
• Maintain organized work area following safety and hygiene policies.
• Inspect packaging for damage and remove unsuitable items from production.
• Assist in daily inventory of bulk ingredients and packaging materials.
• Develop good communication with production staff and supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
