Save-A-Lot, Ltd. is hiring for a Meat Wrapper at Store 30043 in Elkhart, IN. The role involves learning to package and price beef, pork and poultry items, ensuring proper labeling and shelf presentation to maximize sales.

Your responsibilities include maintaining display cleanliness, assisting with ordering, and rotating stock while adhering to safety and sanitation standards. English proficiency and 18+ age required.

Competenze

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in grocery perishable department or meat wrapping preferred.
• Experience safely using manual pallet jacks, hand tools and power equipment (knives, wrappers, scales, slicers, cubing machine, power saw where certified).
• Proficiency in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
• Must be able to read, write and speak in English.

Mansioni

• Learns to package authorized beef, pork and poultry items according to company policies and procedures.
• Wraps, weighs and prices cuts of meat.
• Labels packages according to COOL, USDA and company standards.
• Ensures displays and case signs are updated and meat is merchandised to maximize sales.
• May assist with product ordering.
• Maintains proper date rotation for products in display and storage.
