Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Meat Clerk to join our fast-paced store team. You will provide friendly customer service, handle meat products safely, and help with daily prep and merchandising.

You must be at least 18, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 90 lbs, and work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Provide high level of customer service and positive attitude.
• Interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Follow safety, weights and measures regulations and company recipes.
• Stand for up to 4 hours at a time and up to 8 hours per shift.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and grind meats; unload deliveries.
• Maintain product knowledge and perform prep and wrapping.
• Assist customers with questions, special orders and locating products.
• Practice Clean as You Go and Fresh at 4 programs; rotate products to prevent aging.
• Follow department procedures and maintain a clean and safe work area.
