Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Meat Clerk to join our team in a fast-paced, customer‑focused environment. You will provide excellent service, knowledge of products, and assist with meat preparation and display.

Qualifications include being at least 18 with a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 90 lbs and stand for long periods. A flexible schedule including nights and weekends is required.

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be dependable and reliable and perform other related duties as assigned.
• Have and show an outgoing and friendly behavior; a positive attitude and the ability to interact with customers.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication skills; ability to take direction and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service and practice safe food handling.
• Receive, store, and grind meats; unload, weigh, and verify products against invoices.
• Rotate meats to prevent aging and maintain freshness.
• Assist customers with questions, special orders, and directions to products.
• Follow the Meat Department procedures and safety guidelines.
