Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Meat Clerk to join our store team. This hands-on role involves receiving, storing, and grinding meats, providing expert product knowledge, and delivering outstanding service to customers in a fast-paced grocery environment.

The position requires 18+ years of age, a high school diploma or equivalent, good math skills, and the ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends. Safety, cleanliness, and teamwork are essential in daily duties.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of math, weights and measures.
• Be dependable and reliable and perform other related duties as assigned.
• Outgoing and friendly behavior; ability to interact with customers.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Capable of lifting 25–90 lbs., and moving pallets up to 500 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service and product knowledge.
• Receive, store, and grind meats; rotate stock to avoid aging.
• Assist customers with questions, special orders, and needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant meat department following procedures.
