WinCo Foods in Washington state is hiring for a Meat Department role. Provides service throughout the Meat and Production Department and prepares retail and production areas for sales.

Weighs, trays, grinds, wraps and prices meat and poultry; prepares, stocks and displays products in Deli, Seafood and Cut Fruit areas. You will maintain product quality and labeling, receive inventory, keep cases clean, follow food-safety procedures, and assist Meat Cutters and department management.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to work varied shifts in a 24/7 operation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees.
• Read and follow production guides, recipes and product labels.
• Perform basic math and measurements.
• Know food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds.

• Welcomes, engages, serves and thanks customers while maintaining an atmosphere of friendly, enthusiastic, fast and courteous service.
• Weighs, trays, grinds and prices poultry and meat and operates wrapping, weighing and related Meat Department equipment.
• Prepares production items according to recipes and food-safety procedures; operates Deli, Seafood and Cut Fruit production area equipment.
• Maintains cases by rotating and replenishing product, checks inventory levels and ensures proper labeling and signage.
• Follows all food-safety and sanitation procedures and completes required records.
