Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Meat Clerk to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, friendly store environment. You will handle meats, follow safety guidelines, and help customers with questions and special orders.

You will receive, store, and grind meats, rotate stock, and assist customers while maintaining cleanliness and product knowledge. A hands-on role in a busy department with opportunities for growth in quality standards.

Competenze

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be dependable and reliable and perform other related duties as assigned.
• Have an outgoing and friendly behavior; a positive attitude and the ability to interact with customers.
• Have the ability to work a flexible schedule that changes as the business changes including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Have good communication skills; and the ability to take direction and participate in a team environment.
• Perform general housekeeping in the department; clean and sanitize work area.
• Adhere to safety, health, weights and measures regulations, and company recipes.
• Must be able to stand for up to 4 hours continuously and walk up to 2 miles per 8 hours.
• Be able to lift/carry products 25–90 lbs. and move pallets up to 500 lbs.
• Be able to move racks and tables weighing up to 70 lbs., and operate a pallet jack.

Mansioni

• Provide a high level of customer service in the Meat Department.
• Practice safe food handling and maintain product knowledge.
• Receive, store, and grind meats; unload and transport products from deliveries.
• Count and weigh incoming articles and compare to invoices; rotate stock to prevent aging.
• Assist customers with questions, special orders, and needs while maintaining a positive environment.
• Follow the department's procedures and daily programs.
