Job summary

Whole Foods Market Cupertino, CA is seeking Team Members for the Prepared Foods team to assist with preparation, counter service, sanitation, and stocking while delivering courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and fellow crew.

You will rotate through stations, follow safety rules, lift up to 50 pounds, work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, and contribute to a clean, organized department. Prior retail experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Ability to deliver courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and Team Members.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to learn multiple station duties.
• Excellent communication and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Ability to follow procedures and health/safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, prepares, and serves hot and cold foods (meats, cheeses, sandwiches, burritos, wraps, salad, pizza).
• Stocks cases and displays with prepared foods from kitchen and storage areas.
• Checks product dates and rotates stock for freshness.
• Assists with inventory checks and seasonal item displays.
• Provides on-floor customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety standards throughout shifts.
