Whole Foods Market in Sebastopol, CA is seeking a Team Member to support Prepared Foods with food prep, counter service, sanitation, and stocking. You will engage customers, maintain product freshness, and help with merchandising while adhering to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to stand for 6–8 hours and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, prepares, and serves hot and cold foods (meats, cheeses, sandwiches, burritos, wraps, salad, pizza).
• Samples products to customers.
• Stocks cases and displays with prepared foods from kitchen and prep areas.
• Checks dates and rotates inventory for freshness.
• Assists with inventory checks and merchandising.
• Maintains clean, sanitary work and shopping environments.
• Provides courteous customer service and handles phone inquiries promptly.
• Reports hazards and follows sanitation and safety procedures.
