Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Los Altos, CA is seeking a Team Member for the Prepared Foods team.

You will cut, prepare, and serve a variety of foods, assist customers, stock displays, and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing long shifts, and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. You will learn product knowledge and work with a team to support store initiatives.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, serve, and stock hot and cold foods.
• Provide samples and assist customers.
• Maintain clean, sanitary work and display areas.
• Monitor product dates and rotate stock.
• Open, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
• Deliver excellent customer service and upsell where appropriate.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Assist with inventory checks.
• Report safety hazards promptly.
