Job summary

WinCo Foods in Duncanville, TX is seeking a Fresh Foods associate to provide over-the-counter service in the Deli/Seafood/Pizza areas, stock inventory, prepare items per recipes and safety guidelines, and ensure a clean, sanitary department.

You will engage customers with friendly service, handle varied shifts from early morning to evening, lift up to 50 lbs, operate kitchen equipment, and follow food safety procedures; a Food Handlers Certification is required by state law.

Qualifications

• Ability to work varied shifts in a 24/7 operation (nights, weekends, holidays)
• Must read/interpret production guides and labels
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with over-the-counter service in Deli/Seafood/Pizza
• Receive inventory, stock designated areas, and verify receipt
• Prepare production items according to recipes and safety procedures
• Operate and maintain department equipment (fryers, ovens, slicers)
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the department
