Job summary

WinCo Foods in Washington state is hiring for a Fresh Foods team member to assist customers with over-the-counter service in the Deli/Seafood/Pizza areas. Responsibilities include preparing production items, stocking, and maintaining cleanliness while following food safety guidelines.

Shifts run 5:00 am to 10:00 pm, typically 6–8 hours per shift; must be at least 16 years old. Candidates will provide friendly service, assist with orders, and help rotate products while ensuring accurate pricing

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing food service preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers.
• Basic math and measurement skills for handling orders and pricing.
• Ability to stand and perform tasks for extended periods.
• Attention to cleanliness, safety, and food handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and serves customers with a friendly, helpful attitude.
• Takes orders, answers questions, and suggests additional items.
• Prepares and displays fresh food items; operates and maintains production areas.
