WinCo Foods is seeking an Associate for the Fresh Foods department. You will assist customers with over-the-counter service while maintaining deli/seafood/pizza prep areas, stocking inventory, and ensuring product quality.

You will operate and clean equipment, follow food safety procedures, and help prepare ready-to-eat items." The role requires flexibility for 6–8 hour shifts between 5:00 am and 10:00 pm, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Training and certifications may be provided.

Formación

• Customer service experience in a retail or food environment.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to read production guides, recipes and labels.
• Basic math for weights and measures.
• Must be 16 years or older.
• Food Handlers Certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist customers by providing over-the-counter service in Fresh Foods and customer service in the department.
• Seeks opportunities to welcome, engage, serve, and thank customers.
• Takes orders, answers questions, and performs suggestive selling.
• Prepares production items according to recipes and food safety procedures.
• Inspects product quality and freshness; maintains sanitation of the area.
