Job summary

WinCo Foods, a growing employee-owned grocery retailer, is hiring for a Fresh Foods associate in Chandler, AZ. You will assist customers with over-the-counter service and support the Deli/Seafood/Pizza areas, prepare items to order, and ensure product freshness and safe handling.

You will stock, rotate, and display products, follow recipes and food safety guidelines, and operate kitchen equipment while maintaining a clean, sanitary department and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Ability to work varied shifts in a 24/7 operation, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication skills to receive orders and assist customers.
• Read production guides, recipes and product labels; log production quantities and temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with over-the-counter service in Fresh Foods (Deli/Seafood/Pizza).
• Prepare and rotate items in fresh food areas and stock shelves.
• Prepare production items per recipes and food safety procedures; handle refrigerated/frozen goods.
• Operate equipment (fryers, rotisserie ovens, slicers) and use cleaning tools.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the department and equipment.
• Provide friendly, courteous service and follow food safety requirements.
