Job summary

Whole Foods Market seeks team members for Prepared Foods to prepare, serve, and stock hot and cold foods, while delivering courteous, friendly service. You will rotate between kitchen prep, counters, and displays, upholding health and safety standards and maintaining product freshness.

The role emphasizes proactive selling, strong communication, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is required, with opportunities for growth and store programs

Responsibilities

• Cooks, prepares, and serves a variety of hot and cold foods.
• Samples products to customers.
• Stocks cases and displays with prepared foods from kitchen and prep areas.
• Checks in-stock product dates to ensure freshness.
• Assists with inventory checks.
• Arrives on time and attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work and shopping environment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
• Reports safety hazards and violations promptly.
