Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking team members for Prepared Foods to support on-the-floor service, food preparation, stocking, and sanitation. Candidates will engage customers with friendly, efficient service and follow store procedures.

Responsibilities include prepping hot/cold foods, assisting with displays, and maintaining quality and safety standards while contributing to a positive store image.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, prepares, and serves a variety of hot and cold foods.
• Samples products to customers.
• Stocks hot and cold cases and displays with prepared foods.
• Checks in-stock product dates to ensure freshness and rotates when necessary.
• Assists Team Leader in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales through proper prep, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows health and sanitation procedures and maintains clean, safe workspace.
