Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Sugar Land, TX is seeking a Team Member for the Prepared Foods team. You will prepare, serve, stock, and sanitize products while delivering courteous service to customers and Team Members.

Responsibilities include handling a variety of hot and cold foods, assisting with inventory, merchandising, and adhering to health and safety standards. A flexible schedule is required, with opportunities for growth within the department.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• No prior retail experience required.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain clean and sanitary environment; follow health and safety regulations.
• Duties include prep, service, stocking, sanitation, and merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, prepares, and serves hot and cold foods (meats, cheeses, sandwiches, burritos, wraps, salad, pizza).
• Samples products to customers and assists with inventory checks.
• Stocks cases and displays with prepared foods and rotates stock for freshness.
• Provides courteous, friendly service and engages with customers and Team Members.
• Answers phones and assists with pricing and signage as required.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety standards on the floor and in the prep area.
