Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking team members for Prepared Foods to help with hot and cold foods, counter service, and stocking while maintaining safety and cleanliness. You will engage customers, sample products, and ensure freshness and proper dating.

A strong focus on teamwork, communication, and a proactive sales approach is essential. Employees are expected to follow procedures, participate in trainings, and support store programs.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, prepares, and serves a variety of hot and cold foods.
• Samples products to customers.
• Stocks cases and displays with prepared foods.
• Checks in-stock product dates for freshness and rotates stock.
• Assists with seasonal item organization and displays.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures pricing accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards and maintains cleanliness and safety standards.
