Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Team Member to support Prepared Foods, assisting with preparation, counter service, sanitation, and stocking of products in a fast-paced environment. You will engage with customers, maintain clean stations, and follow health and safety standards while promoting Whole Foods Market programs.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, teamwork, and the ability to manage multiple duties on the floor, including opening/closing procedures and shifts as required.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• 8-hour work day: standing/walking 6-8 hours.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, prepares, and serves hot and cold foods (meats, cheeses, sandwiches, burritos, wraps, salad, pizza).
• Samples products to customers.
• Stocks hot and cold cases and displays with prepared foods.
• Rotates stock and checks dates for freshness.
• Maintains clean and sanitary work and shopping areas; follows health and safety rules.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
