Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Baltimore seeks a Team Member to support the Prepared Foods team with prep, counter service, sanitation, and stocking. You will provide courteous, friendly service and follow store SOPs while engaging with customers and fellow Team Members.

Responsibilities include preparing and serving hot/cold foods, stocking displays, rotating stock, and assisting with inventory. The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and a proactive approach to selling and customer care.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, prepares, and serves a variety of hot and cold foods.
• Samples products to customers.
• Stocks hot and cold cases and displays with prepared foods.
• Checks in-stock product dates to ensure freshness.
• Assists Team Leader in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, and merchandising.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary environment and follows health and safety standards.
