Responsibilities

• Provides superior customer service
• Takes orders from customers by telephone or in person
• Answers customer questions regarding products; assists them with selections
• Prepares, packages, and merchandises fresh product effectively
• Slices, packages, labels, rotates, and culls products for quality
• Assists in technical areas as needed (e.g., basic set-up and clean-up processes)
• Uses suggestive selling techniques and basic product knowledge to meet customer needs and build department sales
• Cleans and sanitizes display cases; operates/maintains equipment; complies with food safety standards
• Records production and shrink to aid in production planning; assists in technical areas as needed
• Takes care of service counter Customers; uses ordering system applications; performs inventory management
