Job summary

H-E-B is seeking a Food Service Representative to maintain a well-stocked, clean department and provide excellent customer service. You will prepare, package, and merchandize fresh products daily while complying with food safety standards.

You will handle customer inquiries, assist with selections, and apply suggestive selling techniques to support department sales. Expect to work in a fast-paced retail environment with varied daily duties across bakery, deli, and prepared foods.

• Slices, labels, rotates, and culls products for quality.
• Operates and maintains department equipment.
• Uses suggestive selling techniques to meet customer needs and increase department sales.
• Ensures food safety and sanitation standards are followed.
