Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED or equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of computer systems and equipment (e.g., PC, scales, label machine) - required.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Reading and writing skills are required; ability to plan and organize work.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service and take orders by phone or in person.
• Prepare, package, and merchandise fresh products daily while complying with food safety standards.
• Support department sales through suggestive selling and product knowledge.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards; clean and sanitize display cases and operate equipment.
• Assist Bakery, Deli, and Prepared Foods as needed (baking, decorating, slicer maintenance, inventory tasks).
• Follow all department and store operating procedures and participate in sanitation and maintenance tasks.
