Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. is seeking a Fresh Food Coordinator to help oversee our fresh kitchens and ensure quality, safety, and presentation of items.

You will support the Fresh Food Manager, coach teammates, and help maintain high standards in a fast-paced retail kitchen environment. The role emphasizes food safety, teamwork, and effective execution, with opportunities for cross-training in other departments and advancement within a growing companyt.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, along with adherence to proper food safety procedures
• Assist the Fresh Food Manager with proper task execution and completion while following effective safety practices
• Work with and coach the team to prepare and package fresh kitchen items in a timely manner to maximize customer service expectations and results
• Manage food inventory and ordering supplies to ensure stock is fresh and adequate
• Coordinate with suppliers and manage waste reduction efforts
• Assist in pricing, promotions, and ensure the deli meets profitability goals
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Team Member, facility maintenance, and leadership roles.
