Job summary

Meijer Inc. is hiring a Food Clerk to deliver friendly, knowledgeable service in our Fresh departments. You’ll help customers find items, share product knowledge, and maintain appealing displays while working across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.

You bring a customer-first mindset, strong communication, and comfort using store technology. Prior retail or food service experience helps, but is not required; physical tasks are part of the job.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
