Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Dependable, reliable with a positive attitude.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor and strong customer interaction.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication and ability to take direction in a team.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs. and stand up to 8 hours.
• Know safety, health, and Weights & Measures regulations; Food Handler permit.
• Able to work in cooler and freezer environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in choosing healthy options and prepare fresh meals.
• Provide high level of customer service; ensure deli items are prepared, packaged, and presented cleanly.
• Fill, maintain, and rotate deli products and displays.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate deli equipment (slicer, ovens, microwaves) following procedures.
• Keep deli area clean, safe, and sanitary; clean shelves and floors.
• Receive, inspect, and log shipments for accuracy and quality.
