The role emphasizes customer service, flexibility in scheduling, and teamwork in a busy store environment. Ideal candidates are at least 18 with a high school diploma, reliable, friendly, and able to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Dependable and reliable with a friendly demeanor.
• Strong communication and ability to interact with customers.
• Able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Experience in grocery/food service preferred.
• Must maintain food safety and Weights and Measures regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in making healthy food choices by preparing fresh meals.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure deli items are prepared, packaged, and presented, while maintaining cleanliness.
• Fill, maintain, and rotate products and displays.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate deli equipment following standards and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe deli area and equipment.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy of shipment, temperature, and quality.
