• Must be at least 18 with a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in grocery/restaurant or equivalent.
• Dependable, reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and ability to take direction as part of a team.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs. and stand up to 8 hours per shift.
• Able to work in cooler and freezer environments.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary deli area per safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by preparing fresh and easy meals.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure deli items are prepared, packaged and presented; keep area clean.
• Fill, maintain and rotate products and displays.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate deli equipment (slicer, ovens, microwaves, scales) following standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of deli area and equipment.
• Receive, inspect and log products for shipment accuracy and quality.
