Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is hiring a Deli Clerk in Decatur, GA to assist customers, prepare fresh and easy meals, and maintain a clean Deli area. You will handle slicing, packaging, and displaying products while providing excellent service.

The ideal candidate is dependable, friendly, with flexible availability including nights and weekends, and capable of lifting up to 70 lbs. Prior grocery or food service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Be dependable and reliable.
• Have an outgoing, friendly demeanor and positive attitude with the ability to interact with customers.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication skills and ability to take direction and work in a team.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs. and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in choosing healthy options and prepare fresh meals.
• Ensure Deli items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented; keep the Deli area clean and safe.
• Fill, maintain, and rotate products and displays.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate deli equipment following company standards.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area and equipment.
