Job summary

Ridley’s Family Markets in Rupert, Idaho is seeking a Produce Fresh Cut Clerk to maintain outstanding guest service, prepare fresh fruits, vegetables and salads for the cut fruit area, generate sales, merchandise products, and support the store management team. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; food preparation, produce and retail experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food preparation, produce department and retail store experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain outstanding guest service.
• Prepare fresh fruits, vegetables and salads for the cut fruit area; meet sales and quality standards.
• Comply with all food and workplace safety rules and regulations.
• Operate related equipment as needed (e.g., pallet jack, hand truck, knives).
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and sanitation of the work area.
• Assist in training and development of peers; interact politely with guests.
• Uphold merchandising and department appearance standards.
• Perform all duties safely, accurately, and with integrity.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by store or department management.
