Job summary

US Foods is seeking a full-time Store Lead to oversee the Dry, Disposables, CES, and fresh departments, ensuring optimal inventory, presentation, and customer service. The role includes Manager on Duty responsibilities and opening/closing the CHEF’S TORE in the manager’s absence.

Schedule is full-time, 30-40 hours per week with benefits starting Day 1. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in retail or related environments, strong computer skills, and a proven ability to lead and motivate staff to

Qualifications

• Three (3) years’ experience in a retail setting, restaurant, or customer service environment.
• Must possess the ability to work a flexible hourly schedule, which includes holidays and weekends.
• Must possess and demonstrate competency and proficiency with computer use, word processing, email, and internet software.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper inventory levels, based on store capacity, promotions, customer requests and seasonal merchandise, in all assigned areas to maximize sales.
• Maximize departmental sales by driving and maintaining superior customer service, freshness, and in stocks.
• Train, motivate and develop staff to execute the same standards.
• Open and close the CHEF’S TORE in the absence of Store Manager or Assistant Manager; perform Manager on Duty functions as needed.
• Role model and promote our cultural beliefs.
• Ensure that the facility is well maintained and is a safe environment for staff and customers by following safety policies and practices at all times.
