Job summary

US Foods in Seattle is seeking a Department Lead to manage Dry, Disposables, and Culinary Equipment Supplies as well as fresh departments. You will help ensure inventory levels, appealing merchandising, and strong customer service while serving as Manager on Duty when needed.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong computer skills, and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in a retail setting, restaurant, or customer service environment.
• Supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible hourly schedule, including holidays and weekends.
• Proficiency with computer use, word processing, email, and internet software.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Lead all functions of the Dry, Disposables, and Culinary Equipment Supplies (CES) and fresh departments as assigned by Store Management.
• Open and close the CHEF’S STORE in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager; perform Manager on Duty functions as needed.
• Train, motivate and develop staff to meet standards and sales goals.
• Ensure proper inventory levels, merchandising presentation and pricing standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean store environment and provide excellent customer service.
