Job summary

Social Factor is seeking a talented Language Community Moderator with fluent French to help build and nurture online communities for top brands. This project-based, part-time role offers flexible scheduling and remote work across the U.S.

You will monitor conversations, engage users in real-time, uphold brand voice, and collaborate with the team to adapt content to audience culture. Prior moderation experience and familiarity with major social platforms are valued.

Qualifications

• Native-level understanding of French language.
• Deep understanding of language pop culture, nomenclature, cultural references, and slang.
• Able to understand client's brand voice and accurately engage with users.
• Previous social media moderation experience is required and live stream moderation is a plus.
• Sprinklr, Khoros, and/or Sprout Social experience is a plus.
• Exceptional organizational, multitasking abilities, and able to follow clear guidelines and workflows.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (ability to mirror voice/tone of multiple brands).
• Excellent spelling and grammar skills (skills and/or language test will be given for final candidates).
• Strong willingness to learn and think critically; a proactive approach.
• High energy with the capability to multitask in a dynamic, rapidly growing organization.
• Interact with users in real-time, answering questions and engaging in discussion and troubleshooting efforts.
• Knowledge of the major social media platforms: YouTube, FB, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
• Personal computer with minimum Windows 10 and macOS 12.X
• Personal internet speed requirement of a minimum of 150 Mbps

Responsibilities

• Moderate digital communities for a range of brands and campaigns.
• Engage with users in real-time, answer questions, and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain brand voice and ensure consistent tone across platforms.
• Support live stream moderation when required and follow workflows.
• Collaborate with teammates to implement guidelines and respond to evolving needs.
• Utilize major platforms (YouTube, Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn) effectively.
