Job summary

Social Factor is seeking a project-based, temporary or part-time Community Moderator with French language experience. Flexible schedules are offered, with some roles operating on a 24/2 cycle, and opportunities across many states including US and UK bases.

The role involves developing digital communities for well-known brands, moderating conversations in real time, and ensuring brand voice consistency while engaging with users across major platforms.

Qualifications

• Native-level understanding of the French language.
• Deep understanding of language pop culture, nomenclature, slang.
• Able to mirror client brand voice & engage with users.
• Previous social media moderation experience is required; live stream moderation is a plus.
• Sprinklr, Khoros, and/or Sprout Social experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to mirror voice/tone of multiple brands.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities; follow guidelines/workflows.
• Knowledge of major social platforms (YouTube, Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn).
• Windows 10 and macOS 12.x; high-speed internet requirement.

If you are a US-based or UK-based , Social Media Community Moderator, we'd love to hear from you. We are looking for project based, temporary or part-time work moderators working in English and French. The Community Moderator role will work to develop strong, growing, digital communities for some of the world's most well-known brands as work becomes available.

Temporary Language Community Moderator Requirements:

• Native-level understanding of French language
• Deep understanding of respective language pop culture, nomenclature, cultural references, and slang
• Able to understand client's brand voice & accurately engage with users
• Previous social media moderation experience is required and live stream moderation is a plus
• Sprinklr certification, Khoros, and/or Sprout Social experience is also a plus
• Exceptional organizational, multitasking abilities, and able to follow clear guidelines and workflows
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (ability to mirror voice/tone of multiple brands)
• Excellent spelling and grammar skills (skills and/or language test will be given for final candidates)
• Strong willingness to learn and think critically; a proactive approach
• High energy with the capability to multitask in a dynamic, rapidly growing organization
• Interact with users in real-time, answering questions and appropriately engaging in discussion and troubleshooting efforts
• Knowledge of and experience with the major social media platforms: Youtube, FB, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
• Personal computer with minimum of Windows 10 and macOS 12.X
• Personal internet speed requirement of a minimum of 150 mbps
