Job summary

Georgia Gwinnett College is now accepting applications for part-time faculty positions in French in the School of Liberal Arts for the academic year 2026-2027. Part-time faculty positions are semester-based and report directly to the Department Chair. Courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as face-to-face, online, hybrid and/or blended formats.

Qualifications

A minimum of a master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 30 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline.
Terminal degree in the teaching discipline is preferred.
Sustained professional engagement that demonstrates relevance and currency in the field of teaching.

Responsibilities

Develop course curricula, including syllabus, lesson plans, and graded assignments, in consultation with the Associate Provost for Academic Affairs.
Review, evaluate and recommend student learning materials.
Evaluate students to measure their progress in achieving institutional and course goals.
Timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.
