Welocalize, a Welo Global brand, seeks a Linguistic QA Tester in Austin, TX to proofread/edit localized content and translate from English when needed. You will also verify UI functionality and collaborate with diverse teams on multilingual projects.

Requirements include native-level French from France, strong English, and experience testing web-based systems on Mac OS X and iOS, plus familiarity with test cases, bug tracking, and clear reproduction steps.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in French from France.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Translation experience preferred.
• Tech-savvy and able to test web-based systems on Mac OS X and iOS.
• Ability to prioritize linguistic issues and distinguish must-fix vs nice-to-have.
• Experience with test cases and test scripts.
• Experience with bug tracking systems.

Responsibilities
