Job summary

Welocalize, Inc. is seeking Data Labeling Analysts for the Welo Data program to support French-language transcription and annotation for speech and voice AI systems. This is a 100% onsite, full-time role requiring presence at client sites in major U.S. cities.

You will evaluate model outputs, audit data, follow strict guidelines, and contribute to evaluation frameworks. Ideal candidates have 1 year of labeling experience or a related degree and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in French.
• Strong written communication and language fundamentals.
• 1 year of work experience in data labeling, annotation, or content-focused work; or a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and apply guidelines consistently.
• High attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in repetitive tasks.
• Comfort working in structured, process-driven environments.
• Ability to manage time effectively and maintain steady output.
• Willingness to ask questions and escalation when needed.
• Basic familiarity with AI, speech technology, or language data is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI model outputs and provide structured, high-quality feedback.
• Perform audit-based reviews of data and model behavior; identifying patterns, edge cases, and failure modes.
• Apply guidelines thoughtfully and flag when they don't reflect real-world scenarios.
• Contribute to improving evaluation frameworks, not just executing them.
• Identify trends in model performance and communicate insights clearly.
• Participate in team discussions, calibrations, and stakeholder syncs.
• Partner with leads and cross-functional teams to refine quality standards.
• Document findings in a clear, concise, actionable way.
