Fracht Group is seeking a Pricing Analyst in Houston, TX to provide pricing solutions across sales and commercial channels. The role leverages customer needs, historical data, and market conditions to prepare quotes and coordinate shipments with operations.

The analyst will negotiate rates with carriers, manage internal price quotes, and maintain price databases while communicating updates to stakeholders. This position emphasizes accuracy and strategic cost control.

Qualifications

• Experience with ocean freight, airfreight, and trucking pricing terminology and rate negotiation.
• Knowledge of freight consolidation and 3PL/4PL services.
• Bachelor's degree in logistics or equivalent.
• MS Office proficiency (Word/Outlook/Excel)

Responsibilities

• Negotiate pricing with carriers and procurement by shadowing the Commercial Supervisor/Manager.
• Manage price quotes internally and send quotes to customers.
• Perform cost analysis and maintain backup data for quotes.
• Develop relationships with carriers, procurement team, vendors, and key clients.
• Communicate pricing information and any issues internally and externally to control costs.
• Ensure that customers receive notices regarding significant market issues on a regular basis.
• Follow up on outstanding quotes and provide competitive feedback to sales.
• Ensure rate filing requirements are met in accordance with company standards.
• Perform freight cost analyses.
• Read and price ocean freight rates (FCL/LCL), airfreight rates, and trucking quotes.
• Maintain pricing databases in system.
• Attend vendor/carrier meetings and client meetings with data and minutes.
• Other duties as assigned.
