Job summary

Jobtailor in Houston, TX is seeking a pricing analyst to support quotes for DSV US Air and Sea shipments and respond to customer requests from Operations or Sales. You will develop pricing proposals with the sales and operations teams and monitor pricing performance to identify improvement opportunities.

Ideal candidates have strong data analysis skills, excel proficiency, and knowledge of pricing databases; a bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

4+ years in pricing/analytical role in logistics, or 6+ years in transportation/logistics.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work with large amounts of data.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with TMS/ERP systems preferred.
Bachelor's degree in business, economics, mathematics, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Produce accurate and timely quotes for DSV US Air and Sea shipments within the defined pricing system.
Support Operations or Sales customer requests.
Work with sales and operations teams to understand customer needs and develop pricing proposals.
Analyze pricing data and trends to identify areas for pricing strategy attention and optimization.
Monitor individual pricing performance and identify improvement areas to win business.
Collaborate with other departments to align pricing strategies with overall business objectives.
Support maintenance of pricing databases.
