Job summary

Charger Logistics is seeking a Freight Pricing Analyst to develop, analyze, and maintain pricing for customer and carrier contracts. The role links sales, carrier sourcing, and finance to ensure pricing accuracy, profitability, and competitiveness across long-term freight agreements with data-driven negotiation support.

The ideal candidate will bring 2–3 years in dispatch, pricing, or analytics, strong Excel and BI skills, and familiarity with TMS systems and market data sources.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2–3 years in Dispatch, pricing, revenue management, or analytics; freight/logistics/3PL desired.
  • Strong Excel, pivot tables, lookups; SQL or BI tools a plus.
  • Familiarity with TMS platforms and freight market data sources.
  • Able to translate data into pricing recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong communication for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain contract rate structures for customer freight agreements—base rates, fuel surcharges, accessorials, lane pricing.
  • Analyze historical data, market trends, and carrier costs to propose competitive, profitable pricing.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Carrier Sourcing to build pricing proposals for RFPs and bids.
  • Model margin impact and flag deals outside target profitability.
  • Monitor contract compliance and resolve pricing discrepancies.
