Job summary

You will work with customers and carriers, manage inventory, generate reports, and continuously improve processes using WMS and TMS, leveraging your leadership and logistics expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in freight operations or logistics roles, with supervisory or leadership experience.
• Familiarity with WMS and TMS systems and knowledge of regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise freight handling teams and operational staff.
• Assign tasks, provide guidance, and monitor performance to ensure efficient operations.
• Coordinate loading, unloading, and handling of freight shipments.
• Ensure proper documentation, labeling, and packaging compliant with regulations.
• Plan and prioritize freight operations to meet customer demands and deadlines.
• Monitor workflow and adjust resources to optimize efficiency.
• Liaise with customers, carriers, and stakeholders to coordinate movements and address inquiries.
• Ensure timely communication and resolution of customer concerns.
• Implement quality controls to ensure accuracy and integrity of freight handling processes.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain high service quality.
• Enforce safety protocols and provide safety training.
• Oversee inventory control, cycle counts, and reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation of freight movements.
