Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Freight Operations Supervisor in Portland, OR. You will lead and supervise all freight operations, coordinating schedules and workloads while ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery across the network.

Qualifications

Experience in warehouse, distribution or transportation environments.
Knowledge of LTL industry and DOT rules/regulations.
Ability to work days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise all aspects of freight operations.
Develop and implement strategic work procedures to meet evolving department demands.
Evaluate, manage, assign and supervise workloads and tasks.
Supervise hourly staff and act as primary contact for workplace concerns.
Ensure production goals are met by managing tonnage, payroll and admin tasks.
