XPO is seeking a Freight Operations Supervisor to lead and optimize all freight operations on site in Busy North Carolina. You will supervise hourly staff, plan shifts, enforce regulatory policies, and drive productivity while maintaining high safety and service standards.

The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to coach a team in a fast-paced environment. Full-benefits and a company-incentive plan are offered.

Formación

• 2 years of related work experience in a warehouse, distribution, supply chain, transportation or similar environment.
• Knowledge of the LTL industry, hazardous materials regulations and DOT rules.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and supervise all aspects of freight operations.
• Develop and implement strategic work procedures to meet evolving department demands.
• Evaluate, manage, assign and supervise workloads and tasks.
• Supervise hourly staff and act as primary contact for workplace concerns.
• Ensure production goals are met by managing tonnage, payroll and admin tasks.
• Plan hourly schedules to meet daily operations goals and reduce costs.
• Enforce FMCSR, OSHA, CCMTA, NSC and DOT policies and laws.
• Coach employees on safety and quality requirements; conduct evaluations and corrective actions.
• Direct a team to meet or exceed productivity goals; advise on hiring/termination actions.
• Develop action plans to improve load average and model compliance.
• Participate in safety and engagement committees; train on safety rules.
