Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Freight Operations Supervisor in Saint Louis, MO. The role involves leading all facets of freight operations, planning staffing, and enforcing safety and regulatory standards to ensure on-time, damage-free deliveries.

You will develop procedures to meet department needs, manage workloads, and coach staff to achieve productivity goals while aligning with company policies and the DOT/FMCSR guidelines.

Qualifications

• 2 years of related work experience in a warehouse, distribution, supply chain or transportation environment.
• Knowledge of the Less-than-Truckload (LTL) industry, hazardous materials regulations and DOT rules and regulations.
• Available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all aspects of freight operations.
• Develop and implement strategic work procedures to meet the evolving demands of the department.
• Evaluate, manage, assign and supervise workloads and tasks.
• Supervise hourly staff across operations and act as primary contact for workplace concerns.
