Job summary

Alaska Marine Trucking in Juneau, AK, is hiring for Freight Operations. You will secure, load and unload freight, operate a forklift, work on a barge deck, and assist in receiving and distributing freight to customers. Must obtain a TWIC and be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to work around moving parts and in noisy environments.
• Must be able to travel for short periods and work in outside weather conditions.
• TWIC card application will be required.

Responsibilities

• Secure, unload and load freight using banding and related hardware.
• Operate a warehouse forklift.
• Work on a barge deck to set and pull cones and secure containers.
• Receive and distribute freight to and from customers at the facility.
