Alaska Marine Trucking is hiring a Freight Operations professional in Juneau, Alaska. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1–3 months freight operations experience preferred.
• Experience in transportation industry is a plus.
• Ability to read, interpret and write bills of lading, tariffs and delivery receipts; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Secures, unloads and loads breakbulk and LCL freight with banding, dunnage, lumber and chains.
• Operates a warehouse forklift and supports deck operations on barges.
• Assist in securing containers and equipment on deck and aid other operators as needed.
• Travel to assist other Alaska service centers as required.
• Maintain general facility housekeeping and assist in property upkeep.
