Job summary

Lynden Incorporated's Alaska Marine Trucking unit in Juneau, AK is hiring for a Freight Operations role. You will secure, load, unload and move freight, operate a forklift, and assist barge operations to set and pull cones. You’ll receive freight, distribute it to customers, and maintain TWIC credentials as required.

What You Will Be Doing

• Securing, unloading and loading freight using banding, dunnage, binders and chains.
• Operate a warehouse forklift.
• Working on the deck of a barge to set and pull cones, secure containers and assist operators as needed.
• Involved in the process of receiving and distributing freight to and from customers at the facility.
• Must be able to apply and be issued a TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Card).
